Watering the Garden

“The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.” Psalm 37:21

The depraved stay in need, they have to depend on others to provide for them, without the intent of restoring what they have received. “The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again:”

The righteous out of the abundance of their heart are ready to share, not expecting anything in return. “but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.

It matters not what you give,
As long as you will give it.
To see the need others have,
God will certainly bless it.

It matters not the purpose
Of the one who receives it.
Your intent to show your love,
Will cause the Lord to bless it.

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Proverbs 11:25

DON'T WAIT

“But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.” Psalm 37:20

While satisfaction comes to the righteous the unmistakable fact is, “the wicked shall perish”.

Those that resist the Savior shall find themselves in a barren pasture where they were once made fat from its crop. “and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs:

The wicked will come to their end, and vanish away. Their field of dependence and hope will go up into smoke, in a puff of smoke, it will end, and their pasture will turn into the torments of Hell. “They shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.”

It is sin that is the ruin of man,
Its poison is in the waters well.
It burns the pasture of hope you had,
And the promise of it is Hell.

Turn my friend, turn right now!
Don’t make this fatal mistake.
What God has said will come to pass.
If you don’t listen, in Hell you will awake.

“For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6:2

WHERE DISAPPOINTMENT VANISHES

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.Psalm 37:19

This verse is easier to understand when we realize “ashamed” in the context of the verse means, disappointment and delay. No matter what the believer faces, God is there beside you and in you providing every essential you would ever need. They shall not be ashamed in the evil time:”

When the drought comes the righteous in Christ will not thirst. Disappointment is far from the one that depends on the Lord to sustain them.  Satisfaction can not be separated from the believers life, to those that is in the will of the Father.  in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

I watched them when trouble came.
In agony they were full of pain.
No one there to bring them through.
Living without Christ and such a fool.

In my heart I must ask?
Why not come to God?
Where things will last.

Where when trouble comes,
And things look bad.
You’re not alone, and never sad.

The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.Proverbs 10:3

This World Is Not My Home

The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.” Psalm 37:18

What a pleasant thought to understand the Almighty has complete vigilance over the life of the believer. He knows exactly to the nanosecond our days on this earth. He watches over us, protects us and guides us.  “ He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” (Psalm 91:4)   The LORD knoweth the days of the upright

The Father knows the destination of His children. All things work toward their good. He doesn’t have to wait, He is outside time. In Gods reality they are already there. their inheritance shall be for ever.”

I don’t ever have to worry.
My faith is in the Lord.
No matter what I’m faced with,
Christ is my award.

I don’t ever have to wonder.
In the end where I will be.
I’ve put my trust in Jesus.
His Glory I will see.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the SpiritRomans 8:1-4

FEAR THIS

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.” Psalm 37:17

Arms are the strength of the body, the instruments used to accomplish a goal. As for the wicked and their strength, it will be broken into pieces. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken

The other side of this coin is, “but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.” We don’t depend on our own strength.  We rely on the strength of the Almighty who’s power is above all power, who’s strength can not be diminished or impaired.

Oh the power in Jesus name,
He ushers His saints on.
Bringing strength to each of them.
As they sing the victory song.

No need to worry, or to faint
When we’re faced with the enemies goal.
We just keep trusting Jesus,
As He destroys our every foe.

Psalm 46
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.  Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
