10. There Is No Better Way

“He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”  Psalm 2:4

He sitteth in the heavens,
High upon His throne.
Watching over His creation.
He listens to his people moan.

Thinking they have a better way.
They walk around like fools.
Trying to change the plan of GOD,
Making their own rules.

But how can you improve,
On what GOD has planned ahead?
He’ll laugh at their insanity.
In Hell they’ve made their bed.

GODs response to those that rage and cause commotion over His creation is just the opposite of theirs.  No frenzy, no disorder, His plan is absolute and nothing can interfere or change it.  It will come to pass as sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west.

GOD’s on His throne watching. He sees these vain attempts to ridicule and cause division.  GOD sits as they run here and there with their puffed-up plans of discord which will never work or come to pass.

GODs love desires all to be free of sin and guilt. Even those that rage against Him and His people.  However, the plan of GOD never changes.  Those that scorn, ridicule and refuse GODs grace through His SON will in the end find themselves unapproved, destined to an eternity of anguish in the reality of Hell.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

9. Keep Me Tethered

“Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”  Psalm 2:3

Keep me tethered with the cord of life,
As the baby in the womb.
Feed me with Your undying love.
You expressed from the tomb!

Put Your arms of love around me,
And link me with this cord.
Allow us now and forever,
To be of one accord.

Restraint is not always a bad word.  It depends on the purpose of the restraint and the way it is administered.

Man’s desire to be independent of GOD’s rule over himself is born out of an ungrateful heart for the love GOD has for him.  Satan is the father of this lie!

Man proved to himself in the Garden his lack of self-control when he ate the fruit of the tree which was forbidden.  If man cannot control himself is it not logical to receive help from the One who loves and cares, the One that knows every hair on his head?

Just as GOD placed a tree in the Garden of Eden He also placed a tree in a garden on Calvary’s Hill where His SON, GOD incarnate, JESUS was crucified!  As for me I would much rather live for the One that has shown so much love for me than the one that has proven himself defeated!

“You turn things around! Shall the potter be considered as equal with the clay, That what is made would say to its maker, “He did not make me”; Or what is formed say to him who formed it, “He has no understanding “?” Isaiah 29:16

8. Faithful or Fools

“The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,” Psalm 2:2

Only fools set themselves against JEHOVAH!
Only fools will perish in their plan!
Convinced by Satan that they are mighty!
While GOD is omnipotent they’re just man!

They think by alliance they can subdue the ALMIGHTY!
By their understanding they will abruptly descend!
They will find themselves with their master.
In a pit that is filled with fire and their pain will never end.

Wretched and rebellious are those that fight against GOD!  In their stubbornness they plot against GOD and His perfect plan.  In their stupidity they think they will be victorious but just as they are set against the ALMIGHTY their defeat is set for their future!

They band together in their plotting taking counsel with one another around the table of Satan where you can hear the hissing of their speech.  They are caught up in their intense hatred and refuse to turn from their wickedness.  Obstinate fools they are that spread havoc among those that love righteousness.

Fear not beloved of The LORD, they cannot hurt you, your future is sure, your path is paved, CHRIST has made the way.  You are set!

“But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”  2 Timothy 1:10-12

7. Call me a Weakling

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?”  Psalm 2:1

The wise understand their weakness
And follow the One that is “The Way”.
But the foolish follow Satan,
Not knowing they've become his prey!

Depraved and vain thoughts fill the mind of the wicked.
They scheme to show fault in GOD!
GOD is rich in mercy!  But if they continue to refuse Him,
They’ll bend by the force of “His Rod”!

Those that truly love Christ, love Him altogether, but those who don’t rage against Him!  Those that straddle the fence are no different than those that rage!

There is an intense hate against Christ by Satan and those that follow him. But those that choose to follow Christ express passionate love toward Him!

Isn't it strange how one mention of Christ in mixed company can bring such division? Why do some frizzle up and become so outraged as if it was a personal attack?  Why would anyone rebel against the One that loves them enough to die for them?

Some say we are using CHRIST as a crutch because we are weak and this is the only truth they speak!  Without JESUS I could not make it!

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

6. The Heart Reader

“For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”   Psalm 1:6

What thought provoking words, “the Lord knoweth”. They will not escape my thoughts. What does GOD know? He knows everything, He is omniscient. God is a “Heart Reader”.

He knows the thoughts of all mankind, even those of the ungodly. The difference between the “righteous” and the “ungodly” is “The Cross”. “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

While GOD is pleased with the obedient walk of the believer it is only through the sacrifice of “The Sinless Savior” that one can be made “Righteous”. All the glory goes to Christ and none to the believer.

It is by the wonderful mercy and grace of God that we are kept and cared for. Not so for the ungodly. They parish into the, unhappy, wretched, and miserable place called, Hell, for eternity.
We may be able to hide from others what is going on in our hearts, but no one will ever hide from God. God is, The Heart Reader and God knows everything!

What can God know about a person?
The answer to this is, everything.
He knows if one is good or bad.
The truth is, God knows everything.

How can one escape His sight,
Or get away from His listening ear?
Can he hide in a cave or beneath the sea?
The answer is No. GOD knows, everything.

Only the fool will think they can hide,
Or dismiss Him from their thoughts.
God is here, reading the heart.
This Word is true. God knows, everything!

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.” Psalm 138:7-8
