Out of Darkness is Light

“When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;” Psalm 8:3

There is not a time of the day that I look toward heaven and I’m not inspired.  It really makes no difference whether it is in the brightness of the day or the darkness of the night!  At all times, I see God!

Whether by day,
Or by night,
The heavens to me,
Are a beautiful sight.

Fluffy clouds floating,
In a blue sky above,
is a picture of beauty,
And of Gods love.

Even the lightning,
From God’s hand
and His thundering voice,
Is so grand.

Watching a storm,
As it floats on by,
Is a picture of God’s grace,
Written in the sky.

And in the night,
When the light has been dimmed,
The bright stars above,
Point their fingers at Him.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.”
Psalm 19:1

“Little Is Much When GOD Is In It”

“Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”  Psalm 8:2

GOD uses the slightest to do His mightiest!  The least to do His most and the smallest to do His biggest!  He uses the weakest to do His hardest and the poorest to do things when they don’t have the funds to do!

The fact is, GOD doesn't need your wealth or your strength, He needs you!  GOD used Abraham, because he was willing!  GOD used a stuttering sheepherder to lead His people, when He called Moses!

He used a little girl to help her captor, Naaman find a cure for his leprosy!  He has used doctors, tax collectors, short people, and tall people.  It makes no difference what color you are, how smart you are or how rich you are!  If you are willing, like a child, God will use you!

As the children follow,
They cry in the street.
Come see! Jesus! Come see! Jesus!
As they throw palms, before His feet!

Hosanna! Hosanna!
Are the words that they say!
To GOD be the glory!
As their King rides by the way.

He is on a journey,
To which he must complete.
It’s on to Calvary and the grave,
To which He will defeat!

“And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?”  Matthew 21:16

I AM THAT I AM

“O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.”  Psalm 8:1

These are just a few words that express how majestic GOD is, magnificent, grand, grandiose, splendid, superb, exceptional, glorious, brilliant, wonderful, marvelous, fabulous, super, splendid, tremendous, terrific, excellent, special, extraordinary, incomparable, unrivaled, unparalleled, unsurpassed, unmatched and unique!

In His own words, “I AM THAT I AM”!

Only one glimpse of the morning sky,
Will reveal His Majesty that sits on high.

Only one gaze to the heavens above,
Declare the immensity of God’s love.

Only one look at a crystal clear stream,
Gives a picture so fresh and clean.

Who is this One who sits on high,
Whose wondrous glory lights the sky?

There is only one name that can fill this spot!
JESUS the Savior all our sins He bought!

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;”  Philippians 2:9-10

Oh Hallelujah!

“I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.”  Psalm 7:17

I praise GOD because of His righteousness. His judgment is fair and His Word is absolute truth!  He has made all things exactly perfect!

Neither GOD nor His Word will ever change.  They can not be altered or tainted!   I praise Him because I know where I stand with Him. I will sing of His righteousness forever, even until the day I sing the Song of Praise with all the saints, before His glorious throne!

Jehovah is the protector of the Saints; He watches over them.  Nothing can harm them. They are set in Glory, they live forever!  The enemies of the saints are the enemy of GOD and He will not hold them guiltless.

Forever I’ll praise the ALMIGHTY
With my mouth I will sing of His Glory.
My soul is filled with the SPIRIT
And with gladness I will tell my story!

He took all my sin and made me righteous.
Through the SON He wiped them all away.
He removed all my sinful habits!
Praise JESUS He’s here to stay!

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.”  Psalm 113:1

Double Ugly

“His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.”  Psalm 7:16

There is an ugliness that lives upon the earth, vicious thoughts of mischief and cruelty that really hurts.  Now this is to be expected from those that do not know the LORD but when it involves the one that claims victory in Christ, it is double ugly!

True believers don’t create mischief, they abhor it!  True believers don’t condemn others, they forgive!  The true believer wears a smile and not a frown!  True believers may want vengeance but are smart enough to leave it in GOD’s hands!

Are we alone so perfect?
Do we really look that good?
To think that we are better
Is shame understood!

The wickedness of this issue
Is it causes so much pain.
To think that we are better
Is living in our shame!

So if we truly love JESUS,
We will reflect His perfect light.
And see we are really nothing,
And keep the KING in sight!

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”  Ephesians 4:32

Bliss

“So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high.”  Psalm 7:7

The language of man is incapable of understanding or describing how glorious GOD is, or His abode on high!  As simple as it may sound, “GOD IS”! To describe this I find difficult.
The description of GOD’s high estate is not as important as it is to know He is willing to leave such glory because of His love for you and me.  Too many times GOD is thought of as far away and very busy, to busy to hear a cry from one soul.

This scenario is not so!  GOD is the GOD of individuals, He knows each heart!  To those that hear His Son, He becomes their “Abba Father” and their sin is no more!  To those that refuse His gracious call they continue is sin and GOD knows every sin they have committed. In the end Hell is waiting on them!

GOD descended for individuals and the testimony of His acts gathers others to Him.  As an eagle He watches and is ready to swoop down to the lowliness of man not as a prey but to deliver each soul, one by one and carry them to places mans language can not describe!

I wish I could express the magnitude of GOD
But I don’t possess that idiom to speak.
Higher than the mountains, far above the stars
Everything I say is too weak!

How can you convey what it’s like where He lives
When in all creation He dwells?
Where ever you go He will be there.
He’s the GOD of no farewells!

If I was to try to explain the nature He is
I would have to say something like this.
Love magnified a million times,
And when He lives in you, life is bliss!

“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art thereIf I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.” Psalm 139:7-10

Fear Not

“Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded.” Psalm 7:6

Arise and awake to protect me O LORD, take vengeance on all that will harm me and frustrate my life.  MY life is dependent on You, You are my protection, please answer my call!

“Arise O LORD”, take on my fight.
Move the enemy far from my sight.
I will sing of Your power and might.
For eternity You are my delight!

“Arise O LORD” and take control.
Give deliverance from my tortured soul.
By Your supremacy make me whole.
Far above all, it’s You that I extol!

“Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”      JESUS -  Matthew 10:29-32

I AM set me Free

“Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.”  Psalm 7:5

In no respect am I righteous on my own. There may be a desire to do well but through me it never comes to pass.  A vain and impure heart believes in its own spotlessness but the pure at heart lean on JESUS!

Yes, I am sure of my innocence!  There are no doubts of my purity because I am dependent on JESUS, who is pure in all respects!

Christ is my righteousness!  My dependence is on Him!  I am “Born Again” “Washed in the Blood”!  I am a “New Creature” made new through and by my GOD!

So take my life, trample it down!  Beat it  into the ground and bury it if you will.  But make no mistake about it, one day when the trumpet sounds I will “rise from the grave” just as CHRIST did!  Then you will know how innocent I am!

I am weak but I have power
Not of self, from GOD alone.
I've been beset and I've made it,
By the grace JESUS has shown!

Always full and never empty,
Head held high and feeling free.
All because I trusted JESUS,
All my enemies now they flee!

I was dead but now I’m living,
Through the SPIRIT been set free!
CHRIST abides deep within me,
Hallelujah let the whole world see!

“And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” Philippians 3:9

When Vengeance Becomes Forgiveness

If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)  Psalm 7:4

It is characteristic to have hatred in our hearts for those that are enemies to us.  It is uncharacteristic to love our enemies in spite of the hatred.

“Vengeance belongs to the LORD” but there are times when I wish He would allow me to be the tool that carries it out.  When vengeance turns to forgiveness we have found the key to happiness.
Forgiveness may not bring peace from the enemy but it will from GOD!  It is a mirror of the forgiveness GOD has for us.  When we mimic GOD’s forgiveness it is a delight to Him to see we are taking on His nature.

To say we don’t have the ability to forgive is the same as saying we have never been forgiven ourselves.  Forgiveness is a characteristic of GOD.  It is His nature and those that are His children will display the same!

I raged inside with a hate that hurt
Over something that was done to me.
I just couldn't forget the pain it brought
All I wanted was to have revenge you see.

But the revenge didn't work
And it was me that was hurt
Through all this hate and anger.

Then I realized not to my surprise,
If I turned my revenge to forgiveness.
The bitterness would leave and I would receive
The crown of a good witness.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 12:19

Looking in the Mirror

“O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;” Psalm 7:3

Judging someone is never right, but to judge self helps us to stay in the presence of the LORD!

A wise person sees their own failures before they see another’s.  Clean water washes better than muddy.  Pure souls are cleansed with the “Living Water” not from our own basin.

A pure heart is more precious than gold, a refined walk is delightful.  Happy are the steps of the one that walks with integrity, trusting GOD for a pure heart!

I saw a person with dirty hands
And I began to criticize.
I took a looked at what I was,
Worse than he, I realized!

The moral of this little writ,
Is never to judge your brother.
For in your judging criticism,
By your pride you will smother!

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  1 John 1:9

Real Life

“Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.”  Psalm 7:2

Without the LORD as my helper I am like a fort without walls or as a guard without a weapon, I am defenseless, weary and alienated from tranquility.  I am torn from within with fear and the thought of what is to come upon me next.

It is a foolish thought to believe you can handle life on your own.  Sure you will make some good decisions but more than likely most will end as failures and leave you in a worse place than you were in the beginning.

It is the wise that understands their weakness and comprehends the LORD’s strength.  A stubborn heart filled with pride will lead to defeat but the one that trusts in GOD will be deliver and secure peace as well as victory!

I found all my weakness and I rested in GOD’s might.
On my own I wasn't able to have victory in my fight!

I trusted in the Master and I never will look back.
Now I am a winner, In His promise, He isn't slack!

So if you find yourself in a place you can not win.
Give your heart to JESUS, He’ll rid you of your sin!

Then you’ll have security like you've never had before,
A peace that will comfort and real life for evermore!

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”  Isaiah 26:3

Shake off Me

“O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me” Psalm 7:1

You may try different avenues of safety to protect yourself from harms way and from the sorrow it brings. But in the end your avenues turn to muddy roads filled with holes and dead ends!  But “O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust”!

It is a manufactured hope that relies on self or things that have no ear nor return a reply.  All words are empty and worthless that cry aloud in vain hope, but “O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust”!

Trusting self only brings another persecutor to your soul, you now are tormenting yourself.  How long will you stay in this drained state when hope is just a heartbeat away?  The Savior waits with His arms are opened wide to receive you? “O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust”!

I trusted in self and what did I get?
My troubles got worse and I did fret!

I wished that I had gone to the only Source,
Where peace could be found and no remorse!

The only thing worse then this could be.
To go back to self and depend on me!

So now I’ll shake off me and look to CHRIST,
For it was just for me He was sacrificed!

“For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.”  Psalm 18:28

Father Knows Best

“Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.”  Psalm 6:10

For the believer there is always victory in the air.  Nothing can interfere with the Fathers plans.  We complicate things when we try to interfere with what He is doing in our lives and our stress is too much to handle.

Allowing the Lord to lead us might seem difficult at times but in the end it all makes sense.  The Father knows best!

When we don’t understand,
The grief in our life.
When others treat us badly
And bring us all the strife.

There is nothing more rewarding,
Then when weeping turns to song!
When all the hurt has left us,
And all the pain is gone.

You see we have the victory.
The war is already won.
JESUS is our captain,
And with Him we are one.

So don’t let fear overtake you.
Put your faith in the Son.
You’ll be in His protection.
The fight you will have won!

“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57

Just Ask

“The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.” Psalm 6:9

GOD is selective in His answers but He always answers prayer if you are a believer in CHRIST.  If you are not a believer, before He begins answering you must trust and believe in His SON!  This also begins with a prayer.

There is no magic formula to use.  No special speech.  GOD knows your heart and understands you before the very thoughts come to your mind.  But GOD enjoys hearing you speak them!  It is like music to His ear and the scent of the blossoming orange tree.

The problem with prayer is not the hearing.  GOD always hears, but it is our utterance to Him that is lacking!

Prayer that is answered,
Is the delight of the heart!
The first thing ever prayed for
Forgiveness and a new start!

From that time forward
Every prayer that is prayed
Is heard by the SAVIOR
And never are delayed!

GOD never breaks a promise
And He has promised this.
Ask anything in His Name
And you’ll never ask amiss!

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”  Matthew 7:7&8

“If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.John 14:14

GOD Hears Tears

“Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.” Psalm 6:8

What a wonderful God we have that even hears our tears! Before we speak a word God listens to our heart and He understands our need. But when His answer arrives and He is revealed to us nothing can explain the supernatural joy we feel.

Oh what joy that GOD has brought,
To this weary soul.
Today He has heard my prayer,
And His love has made me whole.

Now I’m watching as they run,
Those that caused me shame.
They can not outrun my GOD,
Their weakness is to blame.

Weep no longer just believe,
And GOD will hear your call.
The help He gives will soon arrive,
The enemy He will forestall!

“The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17

The Scarlet Rope

“He made a pit, and dig it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.”  Psalm 7:15

When we fall into our own pit we can see what we really are and our need for help.
Making the right choice is most important.  My personal pit was ugly and I couldn't seem to find away out.

I made promises to myself to change my way but the road I was on was a circle and I always found myself back where I started. It was always a dead end!  Once I found the Door of the sheep, everything changed, including me!

I dug a pit to catch a prey
And put a cover on it.
Forgetting where I put the pit,
I fell down inside it.

Now I am here in my trap,
Wondering what I should do.
My prey is free but I am caught.
I suppose I got what I was due.

It’s easy now while I’m in here,
to see the fool I've been.
Getting caught in your own trap,
Is the cost of your sin!

I looked for help from my friends,
But none were to be found.
I sit in this darkened pit
And can not hear a sound.

But there was One that heard my cry
And sent a scarlet rope!
Now I've been lifted from this mire,
JESUS forever is my hope!

“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  John 10:7-10

Wiping the Grief Away

“My eye is consumed because of grief; it waxes old because of all my enemies.”  Psalm 6:7

The grief that comes into our lives can be wiped away and be replaced with joy and peace. Time is a great healer but it leaves us with the memories of our agony.
CHRIST wipes them away and leaves us with memories of His grace!

Tears have washed away my vision,
My eyes are now growing dim.
There has been so much sorrow,
And my grief is deep within.

Time has taken its payment,
And the future looks a haze.
Clear my eyes dear JESUS,
By the truth Your word conveys!

Then I know it will be better,
When I see You clear and bright.
Take from me this sorrow,
And lead me by Your light!

“My eyes are dim with grief. I call to you, LORD, every day; I spread out my hands to you.”  Psalm 88:9

Over the Edge

“I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.”  Psalm 6:6

Being faced with difficulties can bring you into a state of depression.  Sometimes it seems as if nothing goes right.  What do you do when this happens?  Do you try to fix the problems and only find out you have made them worse?  Do you call on others to get their help? Friends are wonderful but not always right.

Before you waist precious time trying your own methods, why not go to the only One that can truly solve anything you face, no matter how difficult.  Does it make you look weak? Well, aren't you? Once we see our weakness and put our dependence in CHRIST then we will have the victory!

I’m so exhausted in this state.
So worn out I can not contemplate,
What is the reason I feel like this?
It only adds to my exhaustiveness.

Whether by the pain my body feels,
Or the mental pressure my mind reveals.
Oh this groaning from deep within.
I can only pray in the end I’ll win.

I turn my pillow from side to side
My head is wet from the tears I've cried.
The sleep that used to often come
Has left me now, and I am numb.

Where can I go to escape this pit?
To CHRIST alone I will submit.
I know because I am His,
He will solve the quandary of this quiz!

“Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”  1 John 5:5

Beyond Time

“For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?”  Psalm 6:5

Time is short for us on earth.  The tick of the clock sounds in our ears. There goes another second.  Every heart beat signifies time and each step we take might be the last.  Every breath we breathe counts away our time.

How we spend this short time is so important.  We either spend it on ourselves, proudly pleased with our own efforts or we spend it pleasing our Maker!  Those that spend time on themselves are blinded by their arrogance and can’t see beyond time!

Those that see beyond time and trust GOD lose self and give their all to Christ Jesus. They have “the victory that overcomes the world”!  Eternity with the Savior becomes reality!

We sleep and another day is gone.
We wake after the morning dawn.

We eat, we work, we play and relax.
Time slips by and that’s the facts!

A minute doesn’t seem to be very long.
But put all together, another day is gone.

Time is on earth, that’s where it abides
After death time and eternity collide.

Where you spend eternity is important you see
Either with JESUS in Heaven or Hell you’ll be!

“(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)2 Corinthians 6:2

GOD "is" Here

“Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for your mercies’ sake.”  Psalm 6:4

Because the LORD told those of us who have trusted in Him, He would never leave or forsake us, we must understand it is never GOD that leaves us but we drift from Him!  The return is just as the exit was and we are the ones that must turn back just as we turned away.

GOD is omnipresent! He cannot be confined and He cannot be limited.  His presence “is” and He can’t return to “is” because He “is” already there!

Sin separates us from GOD; GOD does not separate from us!  “I will never leave or forsake you” is the Word of GOD and that cannot be changed!  If we feel separation we must ask ourselves, are we where GOD is or are we where we are because of the sin that is in our lives?

Did you know that the LORD loves to hear our cry to Him?  There are two words that are most important to both you and GOD, “Save Me”!  By the loving compassion of GOD He always hears those words, because He is and He loves you!

I found myself in a desert place.
I was far from where I belonged.
It felt so empty and lonely there.
Caused by the sin I had spawned.

I cried to GOD for His mercy.
And all I could think to say.
Please come back and hear me LORD!
And He said, “I never went away.”

I fell upon my face and cried aloud.
I’m ashamed of what I've done.
He gently reached into my heart.
Forgiven! You’ve just begun!
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

Where is GOD?

“My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?”  Psalm 6:3

I've had broken bones and I've had diseases.  I've had family and friends hurt me.  But what seems to hurt even more than the physical pain is what goes on in my mind!

Sometimes we are tortured by mental pressures.  The thoughts of why, and when will it all stop, just seem to be so far away. There also seems to be no place to hide.  The thoughts just keep coming, like darts to our hearts!

Most of all are the thoughts, ‘Where is GOD?’, When will He arrive?, Does He not love me? When you examine these thoughts you will quickly realize they are silly, even ignorant.  You know where GOD is!  You know GOD is not confined to time and you also know GOD loves you!  It’s called, living by faith, trusting Him and what His Word tells you.

GOD is watching over you,
He keeps you in His sight.
Always in your presence
Giving victory in your fight!

And when you least expect it,
He will then arrive.
He will take you in His care,
And pull you to His side.

So quit all this worry
That comes over your mind
And know that JESUS loves you
In Him you are entwined!

Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.”  Psalm 31:9

Mercy = Strength

“Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.”  Psalm 6:2

When my life is fatigued, and things are unclear,
I go to my knees and God removes the fear.

There is nothing that can hurt me, or make me afraid.
He says just trust Me and the fear will fade.

Not only did I make you, but I changed your unclean heart.
You are new my son, to you My love I impart!

So when you get down,
Just look up to me,
And from all your worry,
I have set you free.

And don’t be troubled,
I will not go away.
You are my son,
I am here to stay!

One day I will greet you,
in the cloud I’ll arrive,
We’ll share Glory together,
“You will survive”!

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8:37

Trust and Obey

“O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.” Psalm 6:1

The recognition of sin in our lives should cause us to plead for mercy from the only One that has the ability to forgive!   Only the fool would be willing to stand firm in their rebellion knowing of the hot displeasure of GOD that will come upon them!

Who is it that GOD is hot with anger?  Is it not the unrighteous?  Oh, but it says, “All have sinned”, “There is none righteous, no not one”, “All our righteousness is as filthy rags”, we are dirtied with spoiled blood!

To where will we go to escape the Holy GODs wrath?  There is only one place to go for help, JESUS! GODs SON!, who took your place and died for us.  “How will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?”!

GOD is the Lawgiver, He is the Judge.  The sentence has been given. “For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God” and the wages of our sin is death”!  But He has provided the Way through the “Pure and Righteous Blood” of JESUS!

GOD may chastise me, He may correct my path but I’m made righteous through Christ and the Fathers wrath will never come upon me.  GODs “Hot Displeasure” was placed upon His Son, for me and you!

How thankful I am for the escape He made for me,
And caused me to be pure and clean.
Never possible on my own was this.
On CHRIST alone I lean!

No terror now or anger seen
JESUS paved the way.
The Fathers hot displeasure isn't meant for me.
On His Word I did obey!

“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”  2 Corinthians 5:21

Water from the Brook

“For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.”  Psalm 5:12

To be approved or blessed of GOD is to be exalted to a place far above mans understanding.  GODs blessing is higher than the highest mountain and far above the heavens.  “More to be desired than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.”!

The blessing is given only to a special group!  Only the “righteous” receive it.  It can’t be stolen from another, it can’t be purchased and it can’t be earned!  It is impossible to receive it in any way other then through the SON of GOD!

The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.”  Only the fool would not desire such a blessing!

A blessing is just a blessing
When it’s not from GOD above!
But when it is from the LORD,
There is no greater love!

I know, I have tasted,
The Water from the brook.
Now I’m never thirsty
And never to be forsook!

So if you haven’t been there,
I urge you to go now.
Take a sip of the Water
And on your knees bow!

“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”  Proverb 10:22
