All in All

“O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!”    Psalm 8:9

There is a name above all names, none greater has been born!  This name elevated to its glory by the FATHER of the SON!  The Highest of all authority has established that at this name every knee would bow and every mouth would confess JESUS as LORD! 

I proudly claim JESUS as my LORD and SAVIOR!  JESUS is my All in All!

God is all and everything,

On this you can’t expand.

Brighter than the sun He is,

Powerful and so grand!

More beautiful than a rose,

Sweeter than the Lily!

Being in His prescience

Is living in tranquility!

More majestic than the highest peak,

Calmer than the bay!

Purer than the purest gold,

Or greatest diamond on display!

He is even more than this to me,

By Him alone I live!

He bought my life on Calvary

By giving all that He could give!

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11    

Everywhere

“The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.”  Psalm 8:8

What an amazing GOD we have!  He supplies everything we need and at the same time puts grand thoughts in our minds that take us to places beyond our imagination!

All of GOD’s creation is a picture of things to come!  The Father will take us  higher than the eagle can fly or science can see! Far above the sky and deeper than the sea!

I can see GOD in the sky far above.

And see Him in the depths of the sea.

Wherever I go I shall find Him there.

For that’s where I want to be!

When the LORD asked His disciples,

Will you also go and leave me now?

Where would we go and not find You?

You’re everywhere and to this we avow!

“Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”  Colossians 1 15-17 

A Scarlet Rope

“He made a pit, and dig it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.”  Psalm 7:15

When we fall into our own pit we can see what we really are and our need for help.

Making the right choice is important.  My personal pit was ugly and I couldn't seem to find away out.

I made promises to myself to change my way but the road I was on was a circle and I always found myself back where I had started. Once I found the Door of the sheep everything changed including me!

I dug a pit to catch a prey

And put its cover on. 

Forgetting where I put the pit,

I fell inside headlong. 

Now I am here in my trap,

Wondering what I should do. 

My prey is free but I am caught.

I suppose I got my due.

It’s easy now while I’m in here,

To see the fool I've been.   

Getting caught in your own trap,

Is the cost of your sin!

I looked for help from my friends,

But none were to be found.

I sit in this darkened pit

And can not hear a sound.

But there was One that heard my cry

And sent a scarlet rope!

Now I've been lifted from this mire,

JESUS forever is my hope!

“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”  John 10:7-10

A Way Out

“Behold, he travails with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.”  Psalm 7:14

The traits of the lost sinner are occupied with injustice, deceitfulness and falsehood.  They despise righteousness and those that practice it.  Their concern is for themselves and no one has authority over them.  But JESUS loves them!

They devise evil in their hearts against GOD’s plan.  They are on a mission of hatred against Him.  They are full of themselves.  But JESUS loves them!

Some will never turn and see their sin and will be destroyed with the one that has led them.  While they think they are their own they are owned and controlled by satan.  But JESUS still loves them!

Others will turn as I did, they will see their sin and reach out to the Savior for help and He will save them!  Their nature will be changed; they will not be the same.  CHRIST will redeem them and change their desires!   JESUS loves all, He is “love” but He died and rose for those that trust Him!

The heart is desperately wicked,

And mine is no different than yours!

From the womb we speak lies and are wicked.

And the devil deceives and allures!

But listen there is a solution!

It happened on Calvary’s tree.

Through CHRIST we can be made righteous!

He took our sin that we could be set free!

 

Thank you JESUS!

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  2 Corinthians 5:17

When the Arrows Fly

  

“He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.”  Psalm 7:13

Arrows are prepared against those that refuse GOD.  GOD’s indignation is real and needs not to be prepared.  Only GOD knows the hour of His wrath and He is ready! 

When the arrows fly His enemies will be as dried kindling.  Their lofty looks will turn to the look of agony.  All their personal gain will go up into smoke; there is nothing left for them!

They have turned from laughter to sorrow.  Their jesting has left them.  Their once foul mouth no longer is able to speak except to cry out from their bended knees, JESUS is LORD! Their cry is real, their soul will live forever, and the arrow of GOD’s furry is forever!

When the arrows fly

I’ll ride behind the King.

Upon a white horse

With victory I will sing.

JESUS the LORD has come,

To set all things right.

For all that ride behind,

They have won the fight!

HE’ll put one foot on the ocean

And the other on dry land.

HE’ll say now your time is over.

Before the SAVIOR, you will stand!

But the Glory of the LORD

Will sweep you off your feet!

As you bow down before Him,

In your agony you will entreat.

I now know You are my SAVIOR

Is there anything I can do?

You’ve had your opportunity.

My love I showed to you!

TOO LATE!

“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”  Romans 14:11-12

A Red Line

“If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.”  Psalm 7:12

Make no mistake about it when the day of Gods “Red Line” arrives it will be sure!  Others may draw lines that come and are forgotten but the only thing GOD forgets is the sins of those washed in the blood of the LAMB!

Repent and be saved!  Without CHRIST your red line is Hell!  Don’t be a, “Why Didn't I” Be a “Thank GOD I did”!

There is a line drawn.

Will it be Heaven or Hell?

The choice is all yours!

And I pray you do well!

Make no mistake about it

It’s your decision to make.

No one makes it for you.

Of which will you take?

You can’t avoid the choice,

By straddling the fence!

It’s one or the other.

The decision is immense!

Take a look around you

It’s so easy to see.

The end is coming

What will it be?

By making no decision, you have made your place in Hell!

“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”  Matthew 10:28

A Deceitful Image

 “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.”  Psalm 7:11

Just how good is my righteousness?  Am I better than the one that I assume is wicked?  Has my character and integrity reached the point where I can truly say I am better than the one next to me?

We may enjoy putting ourselves in places we do not deserve.  But the fact is when it comes to being righteous there is only One that has ever accomplished such a feat, “JESUS”! 

We must not think of ourselves as better than another but be thankful we fall into the category of “righteous” because of the righteousness accomplished by JESUS!

I looked in the mirror

And I was perplexed.

I saw what I was

And I was vexed!

In my mind I thought

I was clean and good.

After looking within

I knew I had misunderstood!

It wasn't the mirror,

That made me want to flee.

I was facing the one

Who had lied to me!

Mirror, mirror on the wall

Who’s the purest of them all?

Who is righteous according to GOD?

“JESUS”, and on my knees I fall!

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Romans 5:1

A Good Defense Wins

 “My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart.”  Psalm 7:10

If you think you can defeat the smallest enemy on your own, it will turn into a giant that will defeat you!  The LORD is my defense! 

I may be surrounded by the enemy and the things that cause me harm but the LORD is my defense.  He alone lifts me into His protection. 

I may stumble and fall but the LORD knows my heart and my desire to serve Him in truth.  He forgives my weakness and changes it to His power, and strength is never an issue!

There is no greater strength

Then the strength of GOD!

His power is almighty!

His Word is his rod!

By GOD’s power He protects me!

By His strength I do win!

By His Word I’m set straight!

By His sacrifice no more sin!

By His death I’m forgiven!

By His resurrection I’m alive!

By His promise I have hope!

By His SPIRIT I’ll survive!

There is no greater power!

There is no greater strength!

There is no greater love!

JESUS alone will go to this length!

“Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.”  Proverbs 28:18

Oh Get Ready!

“Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins.”  Psalm 7:9

We see the preparation being made as the nations are moved and war is all around us.  Corruption is everywhere our leaders are deceitful and they work for their own purpose.  Governments are falling and the people are crying. 

These days are as it was in Noah’s day, when people were, “eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage” and as the day of Sodom and Gomorrah with the acceptance of a perverted lifestyle.  When abnormal is considered normal! 

Is that the sound of the camel train we hear?  Are these the days that you told us about?  Are these the last days?  Come LORD and take us to the “Chuppa” the place of our permanent joy!  

How long LORD will we be trapped

In this raging sea of trouble? 

How long before the wicked cease 

and we are taken from this rubble? 

How long LORD before we hear

The sound of the trumpet?

No sweeter sound will be heard,

Calling the Believer to their summit!

I’m ready LORD!

To hear your voice and discover.

The preparation You have made,

And the beauty You’ll uncover!

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Daniel 12:4

“Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20b

What Were You Thinking?

“The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.”  Psalm 7:8

GOD knows the deepest parts of our character.  He sees the things that are hidden from the natural man.  He knows our intent and desire.  GOD alone is our Judge and He is righteous in His judgments.

It is foolish to think we can put one over on the Most High!  How can this be done when He knows our thoughts before we speak them?  Nothing can be hidden from GOD, good or bad.

It is best to keep ourselves knitted together with Him and keep our minds on His purpose and not our own.  Making our decisions without the Father at the center of them causes stumbling but the one that is led by the SPIRIT will stand upright and GOD’s protection is near!

GOD knows me even more

Than I know on my own!

The things I know about me

Deep within make me groan!

GOD knows all the thoughts I’m thinking.

He knows every little bit.

There seems no where to hide them

From the intensity of His wit!

GOD knows all my desires

Every sinful thing I crave.

He hears my wishful thinking

My sinful heart depraved.

O Dear JESUS I need you

To wipe from me my slate,

To bury my wicked travels.

On Your promise I will wait!

“But you, LORD Almighty, who judge righteously and test the heart and mind, let me see your vengeance on them, for to you I have committed my cause.”  Jeremiah 11:20

All that I Need!

“All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;” Psalm 8:7

Extraordinary is everything that GOD does!   He wouldn’t be GOD if that wasn’t true!  GOD provides for us food, clothing, and all other necessities of life!   All of this points to His SON and the provision He made through His sacrifice for our sins!   

“He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.” Isaiah 53:7

What great provision GOD has given,

For all that live under heaven. 

All these things He has given,

That we might live and be forgiven! 

Food to eat and clothes to wear,

And yet so many are unaware.

So much love CHRIST has given!

That we prosper here and then heaven! 

“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”  John 1:9

The Lost and Found

“Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:” Psalm 8:6

After GOD finished His creation work He looked it over and said, “It was very good”!  It was a beautiful creation and mans habitat was a most glorious place.  I've often wondered how Adam and Eve could have made such a drastic mistake.

The fact is that if they would have listened to GOD and literally taken His words they wouldn't have done what they did.  It wasn't the fruit but it was that they listened to a watered down version by satan of what GOD had spoken.  We must be very careful of what we take for gospel!

Because of mans sin there had to be a perfect person with no sin to fulfill the law that was given and therefore pay the penalty of sin placed on man.  Only One could have done this, GOD incarnate born of a woman without the tainted sin of man!  JESUS!  We now have the opportunity for paradise new if we will listen to His Word and take it literally! “Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you will be saved!”   

In the beginning we had it all,

But squandered it all away. 

Sins temptation was too much,

And we went with sins hard way. 

We broke the heart of JEHOVAH

Who only wanted for our best!

If we only would have trusted Him,

We wouldn't be so depressed. 

We never thought about Him,

We only thought of self. 

We lost the freedom He gave us

And our salvation sits on a shelf.

I would be wrong to leave it here

Because there is more to come.

The Father knows our every need

And He sent His Only Begotten Son. 

If now we’ll only trust Him

And take Him at His Word.

JESUS will forever forgive us,

And our lives won’t be absurd!

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”  Romans 5:12

“But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.”  Romans 5:15

Face to Face with JESUS

“For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”  Psalm 8:5

JESUS was willing to humble Himself, become flesh for our sake that we might become the righteousness of the GOD through Him.  Because of His sacrifice and victory over sin, He was elevated to the “Name above all Names”!

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” Philippians 2:9-10

We are the “Lesser Lights” who have won the victory through CHRIST and have been elevated to, sons and daughters of GOD!

I was just a nothing

That never could do right. 

Always in the darkness

Never in the Light. 

I thought if I would do well

And be kind along the way,

That then I would be saved,

 But in this shape I would stay. 

I searched all the avenues,

Religious streets I went.

But I was never lifted

And I was not content. 

Then one day GOD sent

A man to help me find the Way. 

He told me I needed JESUS

In a loving way. 

Seven years had passed.

Time had slipped away.

When in a far country

His words came back to stay. 

I fell upon my knees,

In a little room.

I did what David told me

And was freed from my doom. 

Now I have been lifted

To a higher place.

Not by things I did

But by meeting JESUS, Face to Face!

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”  Hebrews 2:9

A Lot of Mindfulness

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?”  Psalm 8:4

What draws GOD to man?  Are we so to be desired?  Are we beautiful, loving and kind?  Are our actions what cause Him to love us?  With any honesty at all when we look at ourselves we don’t find many of these qualities. 

“All our righteousness is as filthy rags” and yet the Almighty GOD is mindful of us!  He knows everything about us, good and bad!  But “GOD is love” and His desire is to fellowship with us.

JESUS, GOD incarnate made that possible by fulfilling the law, not committing sin and taking our place on the cross.  That’s a lot of mindfulness!  He doesn't care what you have done or how you have done it!  He says “come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest!”

Anything good about me is the JESUS you see in me!

 

Is there anything good about me,

That would cause GOD to love me?

It is certainly not my integrity

There isn't enough to see in me!

Do you suppose it is my honesty,

That prompted Him to care for me?

When I think of that possibility

All I see is my dishonesty!

Perhaps it is by the works I've done, 

Keeping the law as I've run!

To which when thinking I recall,

All the failures I've spun!

Oh but now it has comes to me.

The only way to liberty,

The reason why GOD is mindful of me.

It was CHRIST alone that died for me!

Oh such grace that GOD did give,

When He stop by to make me live. 

My song for which I’ll forever sing,

And shout forever this blessed thing! 

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16
