YOU CAN"T GET BETTER THAN PERFECT

“By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.” (Psalm 33:6)

When GOD speaks things happen. His words are calculated they are sure and absolute. When He speaks the outcome is always the right conclusion to the matter. When GOD speaks it is the end of the story, nothing can be added to what He says or what He does. You cannot make perfect any better than perfect already is. “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made;”

The vastness of the heavens declares the power and the Glory of GOD. The brilliance of the heavens declares His desire to delight the heart with all His beauty. “By the breath of his mouth.” He placed each star in its perfect place to show the perfection of His design. Each planet and star set as the jeweler would precious stones in the ring for the bride.

God opened His mouth; His speech was clear.

By the words He spoke, made He the heavens appear.

Out of His mouth, He breathed full and free.

He blew into existence, all man could see.

He dotted the sky in the great high above.

Filled it with diamonds, to show us His love.

Tonight, when you look at the heavens GOD made.

You will see a picture of His Glory with stars on parade.

Some will sparkle and some will just shine.

Some will shoot across the sky through His design.

There is but one conclusion to all of this.

GOD’s creation is full of beauty and bliss.

Do not take for granted this beauty you see.

It is a picture of GOD’s love for you and me.

“For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.” (Isaiah 45:18)

Christ can do the same for you and me.

We cannot make ourselves perfect,

But through Him we can be.

If we will do as He told Nicodemus of old,

Be “born-again” and perfection will unfold.

“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:13)
