“For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his
countenance doth behold the upright.” Psalm
11:7
GOD doesn't love us because we are righteous. He loves us
in spite of our ungodly ways! He loves
righteousness! He is righteous in its precise
form. Because of His love for you and me, He made it possible through JESUS the SON to make us righteous. Because of the SON’s love and obedience He
now sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for those the Holy
Spirit has drawn and converted!
Please if you haven’t already, put your faith and trust
in Christ!
It is not because we are righteous,
That the FATHER sent His SON!
We are just the opposite.
We are sinners and undone.
What a price GOD did pay,
That we might be made clean.
The Father turned His back on HIM
And would not intervene!
The SON paid the debt I owed
As HE hung upon that tree!
Never thinking of Himself
He was thinking,
about me!
He paid the horrible cost!
He rose up from the dead!
He sent the Holy Spirit!
He’s coming back, like HE said!
“For he hath made him to
be sin for us, who knew no
sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21
