The Can-Do GOD

PSALM 5

1 {To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.} Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

“Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.”  Psalm 5:1

Prayer has the ability to change the natural into the supernatural!  By faith we believe GOD.  We understand our own inability and trust His reliability!  What we can’t do, He can do!
The FATHER always answers the prayer that honors the SON and the SPIRIT rewards the heart of the believer. Oh to be one in CHRIST.  What an honor!

I once told an eighty year old lady about JESUS and how she could also have the grace and peace that I possessed through Him.   I told her with her heart she had to believe and with her mouth to confess.  I told her I didn’t have to be there but it was between her and the LORD.

A week later I talked to her again over the phone and she asked me if it made any difference it she thought the words when she prayed and I of course said no. She told me she had trusted Christ as her Savior.

Give ear to me O Savior.
Hear the words that I speak.
Understand what I am thinking.
Without You I am weak.

Hear and understand,
The spot that I am in.
Take charge by Your SPIRIT
That through You I can win.

Without Your provision,
I know I could not cope.
JESUS CHRIST my SAVIOR
You are my only hope!

“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”  Romans 8:26

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10
